April

Isn't she a sweetheart?!  Ballet picture day

Wellsville, UT baby animal days
Wellsville is a 2 hour drive from our house so we took the girls one Saturday to see the animals and we stayed overnight in a hotel.  Our girls LOVE hotels, especially the pool and the key to the room, lol

This was on our way to Wellsville.  It was such a loonnnnggg drive (j/k) that Lexi napped on the way there.

They had baby bears.  The workers were holding them and feeding them bottles.  The pictures I got of them aren't that great, but they were cute.

They got to pet a calf.....

.....and some piglets

There were free pony rides

Petting sheep (it almost looks like a stuffed animal).......

......and goats.....

....and a donkey

This was my favorite part - holding the baby bunnies!  They were the softest things ever!!

And now we're home
Trying a new way to curl Lexi's hair.  The idea is to sleep on it and then take the headband out in the morning and have beautiful curls.  Every time I try it the headband falls out in the night.  One strand of hair by her face did manage to curl, HA!

Feb-March

For Addison's 6th birthday she wanted to go to BYU and buy a BYU shirt and go to Chuck E Cheeses.  We didn't get her picture at either :(

Lexi's first soccer experience.  She wouldn't let go of the coach's hand

Addy's 6th birthday

Lexi with her new cousin, Lyndee.  The girls loved her!  Sometimes Lexi asks when we can "get" a baby :)

Steve's brother, Rob, and his wife, Jeanna, came for a visit with their new baby

Coming home from playing at their cousin's house.  They are always wiped out after we go there :)

She makes a good cowgirl

Books

Grandma Luke sent this book to the girls for Christmas & it is the cutest book ever! The girls & I LOVE it. They each like to read the peach crayon page because he's hiding in the box naked. They think that is so funny. Lexi doesn't know how to read yet but she has memorized parts of the story & likes to pretend she's reading. I'm going to start giving this book as gifts.

The book, No David, is a fun one for the girls too (it's such a simple book, but they love it). Lexi has it memorized too & she even adds her own words to certain parts. It's cute.  Most of the time she says what's actually written (from memory) but when she ad libs it's cute :) I love her imagination.

None of these books were around when I was little, including these Pout Pout Fish books. I really like books that rhyme & these Pout Pout Fish books are fun. Addy knows how to read this one now. She usually doesn't even try reading a book if the words are small & there are lots of words-I think she just gets overwhelmed. But she finally tried this one & did really well.
