This is going to be lots of random pictures:

I saw this idea on face book. It's a home-made time out timer. It's water mixed with glitter & glue & it's supposed to be calming for the child to watch the glitter settle. Once it's settled they can come out of time out. It looked like a neat idea, except every time I put Addy in time out Lexi wants to go too because she wants to play with the timer. In this picture Addy is in time out for kicking Lexi....aaannd Lexi joined her voluntarily. Another thing about the timer is they just play with the timer the whole time they're in time out so the glitter never settles haha. Maybe it just takes time for them to learn & get used to it. I'll keep trying it.

Lexi & Uncle Mitch. Aw, they look so cozy!

We tried the dentist again. We tried once a year ago & Addy was too scared to let them do anything. And as you can see from this picture it didn't go too well one whole year later lol. She was still really scared. They did get a little further than last time - Addison let the assistant brush & floss her teeth a little bit :)

She is growing so big so fast! Addison wore this outfit exactly a year ago! It is size 3T but it has shrunk a little in the wash. Lexi is almost 20 months but she wears 2T-3T.

I warned you- this is a very random post. My sister & brother-in-law adopted two brothers from Liberia, Africa two years ago. The boys got sealed to them in the temple last month!  It was such a special experience!  I will always remember how angelic all the kids looked wearing all white in the temple. They were beautiful!

Normally we eat stroganoff with rice or noodles.  Sometimes I put it on toast.  In this case Addy wanted jelly on top of the stroganoff.  She devoured it.

Looks like someone little got a hold of the camera.  I would call these selfies but I think it's Addison behind the camera.  Lexi doesn't know how to take a selfie haha

Uh, Mom.....what are you doing?
Finally got a little smile

A tutu makes cool hair

Steve took some of his slacks into an alterations shop the other day. He told the little Chinese lady he needed them let out & in her sweet Chinese accent said,
"Ohhh, you gaining weight huh?"
Steve replied "Hey, I've had these a long time"
She said "I forgive you then"

It was a lot funnier hearing it from Steve imitating her cute Chinese accent.

This is how much Addison loves babies.  Steve took her to see the movie Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs 2 in the movie theater and in one part of the movie a "mommy" taco walked by with a bunch of "baby" tacos following behind and when Addy saw the "baby" tacos she said "Awwwwww". Lol she loves all babies, even taco babies.

Snow day....

+ sick day/week =

The girls & I have not left the house in 3 DAYS! First Addy was sick, then Lexi, & now I'm starting to feel it. No fun! Luckily we have these to cheer us up :)

Addy & I can't wait to dig in!

Every time Lexi coughs she says "sick".

Deck the Halls....

Addy keeps singing this:

Deck the halls with boughs of holly,
Fa la la la la, la la la la.
Tis' the season to be jolly,
Fa la la la la, la la la la.
Donkey now our gay apparel, (it's supposed to be "Don we now our gay apparel")
Fa la la la la, la la la la

Steve participated in a secret santa gift swap at work.  The gift he got is pictured below: an ASU beanie and ASU shot glasses. Lol.  Addison loved drinking milk from the glasses.
