On Sunday when we got to church Steve sat down leaving one seat open on the end of the row & a bunch of seats on the other side of him. I sat down in the seat on the end, leaving the girls to sit by Steve. After 15 minutes of dealing with the girls Steve whispered to me "your seat was no accident". I smiled & agreed. Then I told him how a couple weeks ago he got the seat on the end, leaving me to take care of the girls. He just stared forward with a serious look of concentration on his face like he was trying to remember if I was right! I pointed this out to him - that he was trying to remember if that really happened- and we both laughed & laughed because that's exactly what he was doing.

Lexi loves her new blanket Grandma made.  It's just like the one she made for Addy.

Grandma Luke also made us some stockings.  I love how they turned out.

Lexi is our cuddle bug - she is very affectionate

First Day of School

I LOVE this picture! Daddy got to walk Addison to her first day of school (and so did Lexi and I, of course)

Lexi was excited for school too

Just because I love her smile

She asked for banana in her cereal and it looks like there is no cereal :)

She's getting so big

And so sassy

TRIP TO COLORADO

Cousin time

The morning after arriving at my parent's house, all the cousins got up way too early and were jumping in their pj's (all the cousins that were staying at my parent's house at the time.  More cousins came later in the week).

Addy sure knows how to pose :)

Lexi with her cousin Asher

These cute bunnies run wild all over my parent's neighborhood

Swim lessons.  We found a college girl home for the summer who taught swim lessons at the rec center to come to our pool and teach Addison, Lexi, and Asher.  It worked out so well.

Lexi wasn't as confident but she made progress.

Doug is 8 months older than Addison

Nap time by the pool

SANTA'S WORKSHOP (same pictures as last year, the girls are just a little older, haha)

Looks like they're on a date

I love pictures like these. I hope the girls will remember being with their grandparents.  I have a horrible memory, plus I didn't visit my grandparents very much since they lived on the East coast, so I have very few memories of them.

Lexi and Grandpa napping on our lunch break.  Lexi wasn't sitting in a stroller at all in the park but I put her in one so we could walk fast to get to the car for lunch.  She fell asleep before we got to the car.

On the skyride.  Neither of my girls chose to ride with me, so Miriam got to.  Lexi usually only wanted me and no one else to take her on rides but at the last minute she chose to ride with Amy
