Sisters Quote

I saw this on pinterest and completely agree:

"How do people make it through life without a sister?"

I love and appreciate my sisters so much!  Thank you Amy, Beth, and Courtney for being so wonderful.  You have helped me more than you will ever know.

Steve was changing Addison's dirty diaper and it was a bad one.  He accidentally touched it and started freaking out.  Addy said "Daddy crying" lol

Addy loves to hold the neighbor's baby, Sienna.  She does so well with Sienna.  It gives me hope that she's going to be such a good big sister when her little sister arrives.  The several times I have babysat Sienna, Addy hasn't gotten jealous when I feed her or hold her.  I'm sure though that when the baby arrives and doesn't ever leave, there will be some jealousy.  Addison loves attention from mom and dad.  She doesn't play with her toys unless we play with her.  It's frustrating, but I don't know how to change that.

Addison usually sits at the table to eat and her food is usually on a plate but she insisted she eat right out of the container this time.

23 weeks pregnant

Addison with her friend Austin.  Looks like they're having so much fun together lol

Aunt Courtney got Addison a tutu to wear at her wedding in May.  We're just trying it on.

She doesn't know what to do with her arms because the tutu feels funny :)

She's still keeping her arms up.

Addy's hair is finally long enough to get in her eyes.  She needs barretts to keep it out of her eyes.

One day Addy tried to stick the corner of her blankie up my nose.  Of course I pulled back and was wondering what she was doing.  Then I started thinking about it and wondered if she puts the blankie in her nose.  So I watched her for awhile and sure enough when she sucks her thumb, sometimes she holds her blankie right next to her nose and the corner of it is IN her nose! LOL  It's so fun watching her grow and develop and noticing her little habits.
Addison was busy running away from me one morning in her bedroom when she heard the train far away outside.  She stopped and listened.
Mommy:  "Do you hear the train?"
Addy:  "Yeah, I want to see the train."
Mommy:  "I don't know where it is."
Addy:  "It's right there" (pointing to her window)
Mommy: "Eat your muffin Addison"
Addy: "No"
Mommy:  "Why not?"
Addy:  "Because why?"

Addison with her Aunt Courtney and soon-to-be Uncle Mitch.  Mitch's sister is in our ward and she and I set Courtney and Mitch up on a blind date.  They are engaged to be married May 10.  I'm so happy for them!  They make a cute couple.

I've been sick with a cold for the past few days and it's kicking my butt.  When I get sick when I'm pregnant it seems so much harder to handle.  Today Steve has been so wonderful and is taking care of Addison so I can rest in my bedroom with the humidifier.  I came downstairs to eat after a few hours of resting and he had cleaned the kitchen and taken out the trash.  He is so thoughtful and caring.  I appreciate him so much!  Now I can hear him giving Addison a bath and I can hear her laugh occasionally.  I've only been away from her for a few hours and I just want to cuddle with her!  I miss her already.  Hearing her laugh in the bath is making me miss her even more.  It's amazing that even though I spend 7 days a week with that girl, I miss her after only a short time.  I love when she's gets excited and yells "Mom!" when I return from running an errand without her.  She is the sweetest and I'm so excited to be having another little girl soon.

We went to my niece, Grace's baptism on Saturday.  The bishop was talking and demonstrating his point with a remote control helicopter.  He had Grace's new 13 year old brother, Surprise (adopted from Africa), hold the helicopter and he turned the helicopter on so the blade spun around for a few seconds.  Then he stopped it to talk about it.  After it stopped Addison yelled "So fuuun!".  She is so entertaining these days.  She's saying more sentences, most of which are just fragmented words put together.  When she doesn't like something she says "I no like it".  The other night Steve was putting her to bed and she said something like "Daddy, teddy, bed, rock".  I'm not sure what she meant by that.  When Steve or I are watching tv and Addison wants to watch her show, she says "I no like tv.  I want to watch Dinosaur Train" (or whatever show she wants to watch at the time).
