I love putting them in matching outfits

She can't wait to go to school.  She likes to pretend she's going off to school. She'll give me a hug and a kiss "goodbye" and walk towards the door with her backpack on.  Then she'll turn around and come back as if she's coming home from school and give me another hug and kiss.  It's cute.

She loves playing with the neighbor's kitty

SISTER'S BIRTHDAY LUNCH
My sisters and I go out to lunch when one of us has a birthday.  For my little sister, Courtney's, 23rd birthday we kidnapped her and took her out to lunch.  She thought she was babysitting for me but instead Amy and Beth showed up, we blindfolded Courtney, we didn't tell her where we were going, and took her to her favorite place, Chipotle, for a sisters lunch.  It was so fun!

SLEDDING!
We finally got enough snow to go sledding!  Addison has been asking for the longest time to go sledding. So we had to drop everything and go.  Getting two kids dressed for it was tiring!  There is so much gear.  I'm surprised we had everything we needed for the girls to stay warm.  But it was fun!  I haven't been sledding in forever.  It reminded me of when I was little and would go sledding in my backyard.  It was fun to take Addison.

A VISIT FROM SANTA!
Courtney's father-in-law, Dave Clarine, has his own Santa suit and offered to play Santa for our family.  It was such a treat and so nice of him to offer!  My sisters and I got together last night for a Christmas dinner, a nativity skit, and a surprise visitor!  Addison LOVED it!  She wasn't at all hesitant or afraid like I thought she might be.

So happy she smiled considering she was so tired

Arizona Trip

Uncle Rob and Aunt Jeana have a dog, Sadie.  Addy loved her from far away but when she got close she got scared.  Occasionally Addison got brave and would pet Sadie on her own

Aunt Bethany got Lexi to giggle.  It was so cute!

Thanks Uncle Doug and Aunt Bethany for the presents!  Addy loves them.

Aw, Uncle Doug serenading Addy while she eats.  What a stud!

My wonderful next-door neighbor, Lyndsie, gave Addy a haircut today. This is the BEFORE picture!

BEFORE.  It's so shaggy

AFTER.  So cute!

AFTER!  I love it!  So does Addy

AFTER

Sweet Lexi.  She's so cozy in her pj's.  She's about 4.5 months old here.

We put this dress on her one Sunday for church while she was sitting at the table. We both cracked up laughing when she got down off the chair because of how short the dress was.  We had to change her and retire the dress.

My two thumb-suckers.  It's a little deceiving because Lexi very rarely sucks her thumb.
Labor day family BBQ with my sisters and their families

One more picture from Lexi's blessing.  We didn't get a family picture which I regret.

8:13

Yesterday morning Addison pointed to the numbers on the digital clock on her dresser and said "B, I, E".  It was 8:13 :)  So I added to my "to do" list for the day to print big numbers on paper that she could color and then we would hang them on the wall so she could learn to recognize numbers.  She knows most, if not all, her letters.  She sometimes mixes up letters and numbers though.  So far we've hung up 0-3 on the wall.  She got excited to use "sticky tape" to hang up the papers (one of the episodes of Dora is all about using "sticky tape" so that's what she calls it now).
